Today i am leaving the cheese shop disgusted with how your manager treated me. I have never been treated so horribly by anyone in any type of service industry. i am so sad because my family has been eating here for over 30 years and after the blatant disrespect i received today, i cant imagine ever spending my families money here again. I will be contacting the shop on Monday when i can get answers as to why under any circumstance i would ever be treated that way by one of your employees. I hope that you guys care about your local business and that this message is of top priority. If you simply do not care that a human being was disrespected and ignored in your establishment , no matter how good the house dressing is, then you should not be in business.

Best smoked salmon ever! It was so crowded but with food that good I understand why. It was definitely worth the wait.

Expensive tourist trap. This place is crowded loud expensive and the manager could care less if you are unhappy

This is a sandwich?. First trip to the The Cheese Shop in Williamsburg on business in the area. Ordered the sandwich special of the day which was billed as Italian Salami, with Provolone and Roasted peppers on Rye Bread. I guess I am used to a real delicatessin, not one catering to crowds of toursits, but this sandwich consisted of one slice of thin salami with one one slice of thin provolone slapped on rye bread, with two roasted peppers. Traditionally a good deli sandwhich would be much more generously provided with the meat and cheese. This was a sandwich for a child or one on a special weight reduction diet. Seven dollars for this is an insult, plus I had to wait 25 minutes because the first young counter girl forgot to put in the order and when I questioned it the managerdismissed me without looking back in the kitchen to see if the order was there. You judge for yourself but WaWa can make a better sandwhich that these guys

The food was good. One logistical comment: Once an order is placed, customers have to wait in a group near the counter for their name to be called, stray too far and it would be difficult to hear. If there’s enough of a crowd, this blocks access to the drink fountain and coolers. If there were a public address system, it would alleviate this. Also, guests could sit and visit while the food is prepare rather than some or all having to wait. It would also be helpful to be able to pay while the food is prepared.

Every time is different…. Overall I love their sandwiches, but I have notices that they have started skimping on cheese and the house sauce. I am sorry, but paying $7 for a sandwich that has a dab of sauce and half of the sandwich doesn’t have cheese is NOT okay! Very disappointed with my last visit!
