  I don’t understand why this place has such a high rating. Every cupcake I have tried has been dry. Like desert dry.

  Cute cupcake shop with delicious cupcakes. The peanut butter cup cupcake is rich and moist. Check this place out of you are in the area!!

  Cupcake mania has hit Williamsburg. It’s about time Williamsburg got a cupcakery! Since the shop is still relatively new, the flavors are pretty basic, but generally done well. The Marvelous Madagascar is SUPER vanilla-y; I was surprised by how much flavor was in this all vanilla cupcake. But be prepared; this is a pound cake base. It’s delicious, but if you’re expecting light and fluffy, this isn’t it. It does seem like they’re using less vanilla bean in the frosting than when they first started. I know vanilla bean is expensive, but it really made the Marvelous Madagascar MAREVELOUS. Their rotating flavor for May is Strawberry; do yourself a favor and get in there to try it! DELICIOUS. Their signature Extraordinary Cupcake is a much better take on a classic hostess cupcake; the chocolate cake is moist, filling fluffy, and the icing is fudgy, thick, and delicious. All in all, I hope they’ll bring some more exciting flavors to the mix. $3 for a cupcake is high, but they are large. I’d rather have smaller sizes so I could try multiple flavors, but they generally are pretty tasty.
