I will never return. Horrible experience.. This place is gorgeous. All the staff wear period costumes and there was even a musician who walked from room to room playing music. However, the waitress who served our table (Kathryn) was perhaps the rudest server I have ever encountered in a restaurant. She complained to our entire table that I requested my check to be split as I was on business travel and needed to use my company purchasing card. She came back to our table TWICE to loudly complain about it. To be honest, it was an embarrassing experience particularly as I was with business colleagues. I will never return.

Way over-rated. $74 for a family of four for chicken fingers, pot pie, crab cake sandwich and bowl of pot roast. Server was nice but not at all the ‘theme’ touted on-line. Food was average.
The kids loved it.. Let’s call a spade a spade, it’s an overpriced tourist trap. That being said it was fun! My chicken pot pie ( by another name) was so-so, needed more seasoning. My husband had the pot of beef? and it was delicious! Our dessert was also amazing. Our server was one of the best I have had in quite some time. Go for the atmosphere.
Overpriced, not really amazing food. Atmosphere is cool and there was a flute player who entertained us. But the pot roast thing I got was flavorless. Really overpriced for below average food. If you’re dining in the area, go somewhere else for food! Plenty of good places to eat in the non-Colonial Williamsburg!
We did like this restaurant for the most part. The food was very good yet expensive. My son is 6 and loves chicken fingers…theirs were frozen. Not a huge deal though. The setting is super neat! Our waiter was good enough just not super friendly. The menu listed on this sight is incorrect.
Closed on Tues / Wed. I went to King Arm’s only to be disappointed that I had not better paid attention to the days they are closed. Be sure to note they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Ended up at Shield’s Tavern instead.
