Worth a second chance?. Im giving Ko Cha a dont like rating right now because after my first experience of the restaurant, I can only say I dont like it. However, theres enough there to make me want to give them a second change. My husband and I went for dinner at about 5:30 on a Tuesday night. I planned to order two appetizers for my meal the dumplings and the diced chicken lettuce wrapbut the waitress (very nicely) told me they were out of dumplings. I would have been more understanding if it had been 15 minutes to closing on a Saturday night, but at 5:30 on a Tuesday, I was annoyed. I settled on just the lettuce wrap and my husband ordered the sweet and sour pork. After a very long wait (especially given that less than half the tables had guests) our food arrived. The diced chicken in my dish was much too salty and the lettuce was dripping water from when it had been washed. On the bright side, my husbands sweet and sour pork was actually sweet and sour. I cant remember when the last time was that I had a sweet and sour dish that actually delivered on the sour element. However, the pork was tough and the breading comprised the majority of each nugget. The prok was accompanied with a nice green salad and very tasty fried rice with actual veggies and pieces of eggs. I left the meal unsatisfied, but the sourness of the sweet and sour sauce and the fried rice where good enough that Id like to believe the kitchen was having an off night. Ill be giving Ko Cha another chance to impress me.

EXCELLENT food/service!. Hands down the best chinese food i have eaten in along while. the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the honey seared chicken and loved everything about it. a previous poster mentioned tastebuds and they are right. the food had taste from sweet to spicy, like a breath of fresh air in the summer mornings. the quantities of the chicken and fried rice were spot on. every item on my plate was physically hot, except the small shredded lettuce side dish which was cold as its suppose to be. the honey seared chicken was battered with a chrispy light coating and covered with the honey seared sauce, fresh peas, carrots and some red chili peppers. the fried rice was most delicious and not like the yellow orange fried rice that is dry, this was hot, moist and very tasty. if you wanting attention to detail, taste beyond belief and excellent service, this is the place to be. its hands down the best.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!. This restaurant is great. Fresh ingredients. Nice, relaxed environment. Very polite and helpful waitress. I tasted the spicy chicken, plain fried rice, and the honey chicken. All was excellent! I would definitely go back here, and on the way home was looking at the menu deciding what to try next. Yum!

If you’re looking for the same old oriental food, please look elsewhere. If you’re ready to open your mind and tastebuds, you’ve found your next meal. Wonderful tastes without overpowering your palate.

Great portions and wonderful taste. I have been here a few times now and am never disappointed with the the food. The noodles with black bean sauce is amazing. It’s also known as jja jjang myung. The noodles are fresh, and the portions are HUGE!I’ve also had the minced chicken with lettuce, and the ingredients are so fresh and it just tastes great. Not to mention, for the amount of food you get, the price is awesome. Everything on their menu is under $10, and you won’t leave hungry. They seem to add to their menu quite frequently, and the next thing on my list to eat there is the Pad Thai. The owners are the nicest and it seems like they’ll do anything to make sure your experience there is enjoyable. I will continue to go there, and would highly recommend you do the same. I’ve heard more than a few people in my time there say that the food tastes great, and I am in total agreement with that.
