I got the Italian sub, and it had so much flavor. Portions are huge. Girls got a hamburger and cheeseburger and both loved theirs. Order of fries is enough for two to three people. Grandparents shared a Reuben, and it was just enough for them. Definitely worth a try!
Not your average deli. For years we went to Pauls if we were going to a W&M game and wanted a sub or pizza never really considering the other menu options much. That all changed when we started visiting for Friday Happy Hour. The dinner specials are wonderful! HUGE portions that can be shared. Our favorite is the sausage bolognese which we share and still have enough leftover to take home for lunch the next day!! Salads are huge as well and always fresh! $1 beers for happy hour are an added bonus!
We were a group of 13 and had a great experience! Paul’s now has the option of table service and the waitresses did a great job for our two adjoining tables. Food was good and we had a variety – pizza, hot subs, burgers, salads, and the specials. Reasonable prices and you can buy wine by the bottle (not mentioned on the menu so ask the server).
Very good food, very good service, very good price. They have beer happy hour every night of the week!!
The last time I was in they had Lobster Mac & Cheese as a special – the chef evidently grew up with the regional dish. It was enough for two and phenomenal. You will see your local friends and a lot of W&M college students as it gets later. It’s loud, but it is fun and IT IS WILLIAMSBURG! Whether you are sports fan or not (stuff on the walls and TV’s playing sporting events), Paul’s is a great casual place to eat. Stay away from the chains…
