I like it BUT I had very low expectations due to other reviews. We went there by default b/c Food For Thought had a wait of over an hour. I had the salmon with spinach which was really good. Crab bisque ok. Not my favorite, but pretty good. Very expensive for the quality of food but good service.
Excellent service. Ordered the Fried Sea Platter, which was pretty good (especially the crab cake). Wasn’t the best fried scallops I’ve ever had though. Lobster bisque was also pretty good, although not the best I’ve ever tasted. Best part about this place is definitely the service.
I so wanted to love this place. Fabulous service and nice decor. But the food. Alas, the food was simply not good. At all.
Very nice meal. Excellent crab imperial. My wife had snapper topped with lump crab meat, which was also very good. Unlike most restaurants that overcharge for wine, all of the wine on their list is very reasonably priced. $15 for a bottle of Vigionier that would cost 30 in most restaurants. Service was very good from wait staff in black tie.
Pretty good! The seafood wasn’t anything out-of-this-world, but the service was really exceptional!
Best Food and Ambiance. My husband and I went for the first time this last weekend and it was fabulous!! The food was just outstanding as well as the ambiance!! We just loved the waiters in their tuxedos. Young staffer at Hampton told us to go to Berret’s. We went over to see what Barret’s looked like and it appeared to be for college age kids. VERY run down! Cushions on the chairs were tattered. We then decided to go look for another place. So happy we found Seafare! The look of Seafare from the outside did not really impress me…BUT when we got inside, it blew my mind. The price of the meal was in line with the quality of the food! The scallops and steaks were done just the way we liked them. We go out to restaurants all the time and believe me, if the food is bad or there is NO ambiance I WILL not eat there. If you’d like a classy restaurant ……. Go to Seafare!
