Great people, great food, great prices. Perfectly located in the heart of Winchester VA’s downtown walking mall on North Loudon Street (hence, 147 North), this establishment is all about the people. From the delightful owner, Lori Thompson, to the affable, eager-to-please crew, to the down-to-earth locals in the know, this place will make you feel welcome amongst friends, even if you aren’t a local. A varying, ever-changing menu of quality food with some staples they have made signature dishes (try the tacos), the difference here is that the people that work there genuinely are happy to see you when you come through the door, and make you feel at home. The proprietor, Lori, is will charm you from the outset — and she sings a mean karaoke too! This is the kind of place that even out-of-towners will feel at home because the people that work there are there because they want to be an enjoy meeting and interacting with the various characters that this place draws. Real people here having a real good time. Strangers, locals, musicians…there is a real sense of community here that you won’t find in other places. You’ll be coming back for more, and the best part is they will remember you and welcome you home, even if you’re not from Winchester. Can’t recommend it enough!

Good place for lunch. The service and the quality of the food were very good. The wait staff were friendly and courteous. I came for a mid-afternoon lunch, and had the fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken, broccoli, and sundried tomatoes. The food was substantial and very tasty.This was an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely worth a return visit.
New addition to Old Town Winchester… Not sure how to categorize their menu, except for great, fresh, & unique… Where else can you get fish tacos, wings, marina, & a Fat Tire beer… Great prices…01 May, 2012Old Town… Old School… Simple food made right… Homemade salad dressings and handmade burgers… Enough said… Pasta and fish tacos, specias… Don’t know what to call this place, but great… Old Town Rocks…
