Went in for dinner, not knowing what to expect. Was greeted by our waitress immediately. I ordered beef briskett sandwich with sides of cole slaw and potatoe salad and iced tea. While waiting for our meal, I was brought fresh, hot corn muffins that melted in my mouth. Everything met and exceeded my expectations and was very reasonably priced.I am a local, and will certainly be back.

Some reviews were not so good, we did not find anything bad. We had a party of 10 without a reservation and they were attentive, nice, and the food was surprisingly good for all of us. And the corn bread, so nice! We basically got all the menu items and we very much enjoyed them all

Certainly not a chain restaurant. Best ribs ever. Falling off the bone tender, just right doneness, and a delicious crust. Although I normally add sauce to ribs, none was needed here. Wife had pulled pork sandwich. A little bland, but with the addition of sauce, it became excellent. Potato salad was not too sweet but highly flavorful. The smoked beans had black beans(couldn’t find them), corn and pulled meat added for flavor. Delicious. Like baked beans but better. Corn muffins were best ever. Wait staff was friendly and the owner came over and chatted for a while. If you want really good bbq, give Rocco’s a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Was really looking for some great ribs, very good smokey taste but the brisket was lukewarm and the ribs were undercooked as they did not fall off the bone. Good flavor but not the most juicy ribs I ever had

Avoid this bbq. A better name would be ‘Lukewarm’ at best. Brisket was flavored well but cold, ribs same way and the sausage is nothing more than a frozen link. Had an idea things weren’t going to be great when overheard complaints and saw how they handled sent back on food from table next to us. Same complaints from them as I uncovered, everything on the plate was room temp at best. We didn’t make a complaint because a manager never even did a table visit to check on the folks next to us who had sent their food back(why load more on a server who had been left hung out to dry by a completely nonexistent management presence). Management seemed not to care or know how too handle any issues. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else in williamsburg.

Delicious! We got a bit of everything BBQ and the only thing we didn’t really like the brisket. We found it very fatty. But everything else was sooo good!

Smoked Bratwurst. Excellent, served with sauerkraut, potato salad, baked beans. Baked beans had the right amount of sweet with a bit of corn and nice chunks of bacon giving a nice smoky flavor.01 Dec, 2014Lemon Marscapone Cake. Tart, creamy, not too sweet. I would have this again.01 Dec, 2014Warm Yummy Cornbread Muffin Served with Sweet Cream Butter and Ample Sized Homemade Ice Tea. Yummy
