Colonial Treat. Great food and service. Best clam chowder I have had in a long time. Ordered the $5.95 option thinking I would get the small cup like in most restaurants – NOT. Got a huge bowl full of incredibly delicious chowder and was unable to eat the main entre BLT and fries – no wonder the waitress gave me the weird look when I ordered both! Wife was smart and ordered the cup of chowder and a grilled cheese – she loved both! Took BLT and fries home for dinner and was able to make two generous BLTs because of the huge portion of bacon!! The $35 for what turned out to be four meals with a draft beer, a glass of wine and generous tip was a bargain! 5* quality food, service and ambiance!!!!

First of all, the recommendation to come here was to have a beer and enjoy the waterfront. We didn’t expect to have such GREAT food. The clam chowder was the best I’ve tasted since Tony’s (award winning, from Cedar Key, FL). I then ordered the Hanover tomato salad. I had heard about these tomatoes from a local, but had not tried them yet. Just like grandpa used to grow. Delicious! The grilled scallops were some of the best I have ever eaten. Chris (assistant manager?) said that they get all of their ingredients local, right down to the potatoes and heavy cream for the chowder. It comes through in the quality of food that they offer. Top-rated in my opinion. Worth another visit next time we are in the area.

Horrible Sandwich. This is the second time I ordered the Rock fish sandwich and both times half of it was dark brown slimy fish. Sent back…. Both times…. Had enough. Used to be awesome but now…. Sad to see it go downhill. Clam chowder is mostly potatoes now. Used to be a knockout dish. Something wrong going on in the kitchen. FIX IT! I’D LIKE TO COME BACK!

Overpriced and underwhelming. It has been years since I’ve attended the pub (the last time they allowed smoking indoors and I didn’t like the experience then either) but since then things at Yorktown beach had changed and I hoped that this would be different. I had their special rock fish, grilled and placed in a sandwich and my boyfriend had their lump crapcake. Both entrees were barely seasoned and taste extremely bland and cost about 31.00 So not worth the price, will not return.

Try it!. Love this place. Food is great. Cool atmosphere. Sit and watch all the motorcycles park out front. Fun. Friendly staff. Great seafood.
