Worst pho I’ve ever had. There’s something weird with their chicken. There’s nothing truly Asian about their food either. Very bland and cold.
I think a lot of people might believe Fai’s is fine dining in a casino judging by their website, but it’s not. It’s an Asian diner, and right off the slots. I do not gamble, but the whole 360 was real interesting people watchin’. They were getting creamed on an early Wed evening. Every staff member working was cranking–in a good way. Our server; the hostess; the three caballeros on the the open-air kitchen, and management were all totally in the mix. I made sure to tell the manager how much I appreciated their effort that I witnessed. Hard workers aside, their Egg Fu Yong definition was rather unique, and something I must have, again. Basically three omelets stacked on top of each other, all with fresh ingredients, and well prepared. I went with duck, and while I expected a lesser product from a casino, the duck was flavorful and tender. My wifey’s obligatory Won Ton soup was….soup. We enjoyed a nice couple’s night quite unexpectedly, and after she dropped $20 in the penny slots while I drank well vodka, we remembered we have younger kids at home, and it was time to leave. Feelin’ like 17 in my 50’s, indeed…
I ordered the almond chicken and it literally taste like fried chicken with a buttery gravy. It had no hint of being an Asian dish. Very disappointed with it. However the fried rice was pretty awesome…since that was the only thing I could eat.
This place was a major disappointment especially after how decent their buffet was. The food was much worse than ur typical take out Chinese food. Save yourself the dissapointment and pay the extra 10 bucks for the buffet 50 feet away from it. Even the buffet food Chinese was better than this place. Also don’t call yourself a noodle house and then have barely any noodle dishes.
