Awesome down home feel with great food and service.
We have been going to the Blue Bird for 7 years now and have never left unhappy. The food is great the service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict.
Among the five of us, we had the Rueben, egg salad sandwich, chili, corn dog and French dip. All were very good. Service was friendly. They said they made their own chili, but I’m not so sure. I can recommend it.
Good Solid Food. I went here for breakfast with a friend for the first time. It’s a classic diner with a solid breakfast. I liked it and would definitely return.
A flash from the past! American food from 30 years ago…if you don’t eat here you must not be from Arlington.
Good, hearty, diner-style food!. Stopped here with a co-worker for lunch on the way back to Seattle from a business meeting in the North Cascades. Wow! This place reminds me so much of the better diners that were around when I was growing up on the East Coast in the 70’s. It was sparkling clean, the staff were friendly, the food hearty and good, and our server never let my coffee cup get empty. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable. There were some more upscale places across the street from the Bluebird in downtown Arlington, but I’m glad we stopped here. My only regret is that I was too full from my excellent reuben sandwich to try their homemade pie!
My childhood cafe. I’ve been going to this place since I was 2, I’m 27 now and It hasn’t changed a bit. Except for a few renovations that didn’t change the welcoming feeling of the place. The Menu has many of the same classic meals I grew up with. My usual is the regular cheeseburger (the burger by which I compare all other burgers for perfection.) The slit pea soup is the best I’ve ever had. I also love the BBQ beef sandwich (which comes with a cup of homemade BBQ sauce to dip it in.) Everything they make is the best there is, and it hasn’t lost it’s stride in the 25 years I’ve been a loyal customer.
