Come for the view..don’t stay for the food…. I always want to like this place. The view is pretty good, not as great as Doc’s or the pub’s, but it is nice. But out of the handful of times I’ve been here the service has been poor, or inconsistent, the food has been too spicy compared to what I ordered and the servers were not kind or helpful when I asked for a less spicy option. And you know it’s inconsistent food when one person orders 1 star food and another order 4 star, and the 1 star food is just as spicy as the 4 star food…yet the servers say you, the paying customer are wrong…Needless to say, I no longer take my Thai business there. Despite the fact that they have the best spring rolls (in my opinion), on the island.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!. We were on Bainbridge and had no idea this little restaurant existed and now we will go back to Bainbridge just to eat there. Like most the other reviews say, the owner Teddy is nothing short of spectacular in his level of service. We inquired about a kid friendly menu because lets face it, with most Thai places there isn’t one and his response is that their chef would cater to whatever my son would eat. The view from the patio is spectacular and the food is by far the best Thai food I have had anywhere and we eat alot of Thai. There are reviews that say it doesn’t compare to the other Thai on the island but I have to disagree… This place is not only cheaper, but the ingredients they use are the highest of quality. This is a true gem on the island and I can’t wait to go back again soon.
Bad Service. This is a great place if you and your loved ones want to be insulted with jokes in bad taste from the great owner himself complemented with very slow and bad service. The dishes are in small portion with high price tags but eatable; dont expect anything unique or tasty from this place as Thai food has great reputation for. Finally it does have a nice water view but bring your jacket along as the owner refuses to close the door even with bitter cold wind.
Tired of Waiting?. Doc’s and the Pub had a 25 min. wait and we decided to try the BTC 2 for $15 lunch special. The food was great–we had broccoli chicken and pad thai–and the service excellent. To top it off, we had a great view of the harbor. We’ve only been once, but I imagine their food is consistent as they have been in business for 19 years. I highly recommend Bainbridge Thai…..
Thai food is the best on the island IMHO cashew chicken, pad Thai and duck Ginger (dinner only) are my favorites. Food is fresh and delicious. Spice levels are consistent. View of marina and patio dining option is great and Teddy is a very gracious and entertaining host!
Location, location, location. Come for a quiet table right on the marina, not for the food, not for the mediocre service. Chicken satay was surprisingly bland.
