Nice place. We tried this for the first time. Not especially interested in Indian food but on a recommendation we made our first visit. They have been there several years in a not great location and have survived.Cordial greeting and interesting menu. We tried a combination dinner so we could sample several dishes. All were we’ll prepared and well flavored. Now that we understand the menu better we will try it again.Bainbridge has 3 Thai restaurants and 3 Mexican so Indian is a nice addition.

    The food was tasteless.

Are you kidding????. People who said they liked this, can;t have eaten real Punjabi food! this stuff stinks!11 Apr, 2011Terrible!. This tasted like school hot plate food with a bit of cummin in it. It was quite dreadful. The vegetable samosa were like ancient cardboard with water tasteless mess of potato and peas. the Aloo gobi (potatoe and cauliflower curry) was unrecognizable… swimming in food dye, Chicken tikka masala looked on a bed of greasy carrots and onions was frightful. We opened up the trash and threw it in… what a shocking waste of time, space and money.

Unhealthy/poisonous, making fool of us.. I had chicken curry with potatoes for lunch and it was full of colour, it tasted not very different than some old tomato paste and added red color with spices. I thought I made a wrong choice.I went later in the evening after movie, and I tried saag lamb(spinach n lamb) and I had the life threatening experience ever, I could actually taste a 100% heena. I felt the spinach paste was fake and heena was mixed to make it look green. I packed my food home and refrigerated it and when I woke up in the morning I saw my spinach brownish-greenish in colour…Heena(green)powder paste is used in India for dying hair. Its green in the beginning and turns red/brown after its dried up…We all want a change in taste and they sell us a new taste but with nothing healthy. all that organic we eat, all that conciously we maintain our health for years is a waste if we eat this dirty and nasty Indian food. The funnier part is mexicans cook indian food, and a depressed and obsessed Indian owner carries the energy for you to either laugh at him or feel sick about it.I am mad about it, I love eating but can’t help. I ld rather eat those packed food, which is way more cheaper in price and healthier than these cheaters food…

We eat here all the time….. Spice Route was our children’s introduction to indian food and they love it. Thank you for the great naan and chicken tika masala; it’s our favorite.
