I Keep Returning. If service was half as bad as some describe, I wouldn’t keep returning. As a former RR car converted to diner, it can become crowded and it has been crowded whenever I’ve been there. Crowded can equate to slower service but not unreasonably so. I’ve found the food is worth waiting for and I haven’t been disappointed.
The food is great. Service has never been very good. After seating at the counter on a busy Sunday after half an hour we had to ask where our food was. After 5 more minutes our server without apology blamed the kitchen for loosing our order. She said if we still wanted to eat we’d have it in ten minutes. After I asked about a comp she said there would be a comp. Our server was quite attentive to her boyfriend seated behind us. Probably will stay away on weekends.
