the best Italian food outside of Italy hands down no where else comes close to even comparing to the the quality of flavor via Rosa 11 puts out. i stumbled upon this hidden gem and am now a life long customer. the lasagna is Delicious and you cannot find fresh pasta like this anywhere else. this restaurant truly makes me happy to live in the area i do know we have such a gem in our community :)try it i bet you wont be disappointed!!
This little spot is tucked next to a mini-mart (where I used to play the original Mario Bros. arcade game as a kid) in Rolling Bay. It is part market, part causal dining area, part open kitchen. There isn’t much seating, but we lucked out and got a spot.Everything here is scratch made–sauces, pasta, dough. You can tell. Everything was fantastic. We got lasagna, a meatball panino, and a pizza, half pepperoni half something else that was delicious. Is it the freshness of daily scratch-made food that makes things taste good? Everything was amazing. I can’t even pick a favorite. The only flaw and can think of was that the pizza was a bit wet, so the already thin, floppy crust was even floppier. That didn’t really affect the taste, though. They even had a large variety of San Pellegrino sparkling juices that I hadn’t seen before. I like a San Pellegrino from time to time. The kids got a clementine and a pomegranate/orange. Both were very good. I got a prickly pear/orange. It was also fantastic. I didn’t know they had so many flavors!Another great spot on Bainbridge.
This is a great place to stop by if youre on Bainbridge Island, and its more of a grocery market with fresh made pastas and salads than a restaurant. They have a few standard items though, and the meatball sandwich is one of them. This was a killer meatball sandwich! The service was a little slow, but the sandwich made up for any complaints. I would love to return and try some fresh pasta in the future.
Wonderful service, wonderful food! The owner came out to talk to us to make sure our food was good, really nice place. So worth traveling over the ferry to visit!! Great little place for pasta!
Who knew? Wine and italian food …. Had a wonderful bowl of soup while picking up fresh pasta for dinner. Did not have to make a second stop at the grocery store. The wines carried are carefully selected …we all know what that really means…by the folks here in the kitchen. Cannot go wrong with their wine choices.
