Benito’s Chicago Eatery. I have known Benito for many years. He has prepared several meals for me which were artfully presented and absolutely delicious. When I learned Benito opened a restaurant in Seattle, I was most anxious to see his web site: Benitos Chicago Eatery. I was truly impressed by this amazing site. The graphics are stunning and information provided is very thorough. Judging from the photos on this web site, the restaurant is very stylish and well organized. The pictures of the primary dishes are delightful to look at and make me want to fly directly to Seattle and order that deep dish pizza and Chicago dog right now. Wish I could pull them off the screen. What also impressed me was the fact that Benito buys most of his products from local vendors. And, judging from the information on his web site, he uses all natural products, no additives or preservatives. It cant get better than that. Some might think that the prices are too high, but consider the area and the fact that Benito uses only top of the line and all natural products in his dishes. This is not inexpensive to do. After all you get what you pay for. Also, I found that Benitos offers a delivery service and has many luncheon specials. Knowing Benito, I am sure if you call ahead of time, that your order will be ready for pickup or delivery especially during lunch hours. I know Benito loves what he does and takes great pride in the food and service he offers to his customers. I also know Benito is very personable and would be willing to listen to new ideas and try to incorporate them into his business. When I am in Seattle, I will most definitely stop in at Benitos Chicago Eatery. I cant wait to order that luscious looking deep dish pizza. People of Seattle be sure and give Benitos a try; you are in for a real treat. And, as always, the best to you Benito.

Terrific!. Having lived in Chicago for some time a few years back, I was delighted to see some Chicago style food in Seattle on a recent visit over the holidays. From the moment you walk in, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and – most importantly – are genuinely happy to welcome you! The aromas are enticing! I consider myself more than an amateur foodie and was so impressed that I went back a second time – would have made it a third, but time was short. The vegetable minestrone soup was as good as any I’ve had in NYC or in Italy. In addition to a wonderful, complex flavor, it was cooked to perfection – the pasta clearly had not been sitting in the hot soup for hours as it was just al dente and delicious, providing a nice contrast to the veggies. The salad I had was crisp and tender . . . and the creamy garlic dressing was among the best I’ve eaten. It should be bottled and sold!On my other visit, I had the salumi plate that, in addition to being composed of a delightful variety of cured meats and cheeses, was presented beautifully. The first glimpse made me want to dig in. And, such a deal at $7. This was followed by the small special – Benito’s Special, I think – which was as authentic as anything I’ve eaten in Chicago. That original Chicago crust that I remember was captured perfectly. Because each pie is made to order, there is a wait of about half and hour or so, which is necessary to ensure the crust is properly baked. Worth every minute . . . and it went fast while enjoying the salumi with a glass (maybe 2) of good local wine. Can’t wait to go back!
