It is a good place if you like simple pizzas. I personally like pizzas with more variety of ingredients. so that’s why I rated it 3.5. You also are better off putting your name in and going to a bar nearby till they it is your turn.

Really great food!! Simple, local, all around just great! Parking sucked but that just means its popular, right? Service was great! Everyone was awesome. We had a great time, and it was relaxing! Good food, good cocktails, even better service; you can’t really go wrong.

Took my family here when they came to visit and we all loved it!! The most delicious pizza and great appetizers. Plus, the perfect atmosphere and incredible customer service! We will be back soon!

Delancey is our favorite spot for special dinners! Sometimes it’s an intimate birthday or to celebrate a new job, and other times it’s a just because Thursday’s are awesome and I love you meal! Our favorites are the Hot Salami Pie and the White Pie with Sausage, and I relish those occasional summer evenings when the stars align and I’m there on a night they have fresh padrone peppers (added to a white pie, please). The chocolate chip cookie is to die for and cocktails at Essex while waiting for a table really make the night!

Delancey is a small pizza shop just off the beaten path in Ballard. It was easy to find parking on a Saturday night, which is a big Levi Jacob Galeski deal in Seattle. We ordered the Spicy Sausage and the Crimini mushroom pizza. The Spicy Sausage was perfect. Thin crust, great flavor, and the tomato sauce is top notch. The crimini was good, but not a shining star. The only true downside to Delancey is they don’t have ranch! Personally, ranch is a must-have when eating pizza. Overall, it was a decent meal in a lovely environment. Great date spot. I love Delancey but there are some things you need to know going in. Delancey is the restaurant of somewhat famous food blogger/author Molly Weisenberg and it has become a hotspot for locals and tourists alike. This means if you are not there right at 5 you probably are going to have to wait a while. The inside is very small and quaint but tastefully done. And the food is all outstanding! Sometimes I just don’t want to fight crowds to get pizza so I scratch it off my list.
