I am a huge sushi fan and I have frequented many many sushi restaurants. My impression of this place was negative from the get-go when we had to stand in the doorway waiting for at least 15 minutes for one of the waiters to come take us to our seats. There were several waiters/waitresses busying themselves around at the bar and taking occasional careless glances at us, and several empty tables. The lady who was supposed to greet the guests was not there, and when she eventually showed up she was awkward and confused and did a poor job at making up for the wait, not even making eye contact. Then once we got seated, we waited exactly one hour to receive our 3 rolls – none of which required extensive cooking because they were raw fish based. The restaurant is not that big and it was by no means full. I have never in my life waited an hour for sushi, that’s just ridiculous. The quality of the food was not bad, but certainly not amazing either, and most definitely not worth returning for. We were from our of town so we didn’t want to try and find another place but I’d rather take that risk next time.
