Average pasta dish - I had the fruti di mare with Alfredo's sauce. My dish had too much pasta in it, so the sauce was almost nonexistent in my plate. …

My favorite Ballard restaurant. Small, interesting layout created within several buildings it seems. I love the food and the atmosphere. I was introduced to the place several years ago and have been there many times since with family and friends. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. My grandchildren were introduced to excellent Italian dishes here from ‘beginning’ spaghetti to clam appetizers and cannelloni as they got more adventurous. Everyone always enjoys the bread with the oil and vinegar dip. It’s probably not the best place to have a large gathering, although I have seen a few there and it can get pretty noisy when they are really busy.
Pasta Bella. Poor service …the waiter was unfriendly and dour. Rushed us and didn’t smile or say one pleasant thing. Looked mad.We were served AFTER everyone else and we were there BEFORE everyone. There were only two of us ladies and the tables of four and five who came after us were served and had finished eating before we got our food!!! Too bad, I used to like the place. After that the food wasn’t even all that great.
Still good!. This place is consistent, if nothing else. One of my favorites for sure. And I still have a hard time ordering anything but the walnut gorgonzola ravioli.07 Aug, 2014Spinach Salad. Very good salad, I order it every time. Has walnuts and gorgonzola, red onions and black olives and is well balanced by the balsamic vinaigrette dressing.07 Aug, 2014Gorgonzola Walnut Ravioli. This dish rocks. I have a hard time branching out and trying new things because this dish is that good. It’s rich, yes, and is a mix of red sauce and cream sauce. They don’t skimp on the gorgonzola and it’s got a beautifully strong flavor that pairs well with walnut. Try it with the spinach salad appetizer.02 Oct, 2013Romantic and delicious. Something about the narrow, cozy rooms with colorful walls filled with paintings and wine bottles atop high shelves gives this restaurant a romantic, authentic feel. We’ve been here a couple times on V Day and it is always very popular for the occasion. Try the Gorgonzola walnut ravioli and the spinach salad…YUM!
A positive dining experience.. I had the fettuccine alfredo with sausage added on. It was pretty good. Probably not quite good enough for the price. I did like that they served garlic with the bread. The service was good. The waiters came over to the table to refill water often and check to make sure everything was okay. I really like the atmosphere. It feels very comfortable. I went on a wed so parking was pretty easy. Not sure how it would be on a weekend. They have a pretty small lot but street parking is available. I would definitely go back and try it again even when feeling like the prices were a bit high. I had a positive experience overall at Pasta Bella Ristorante.
A cut above most neighborhood Italian. Charming little place, talented staff, elegantly crafted dishes. Entrees are wonderfully rich and creative, but they are a bit small so get an appetizer (or split one of their wonderful salads).I’ve been there many times and always had a rewarding experience. Pasta Bella is a substantial cut above most neighborhood Italian eateries, though it is not an exclusively Italian eatery.Try the ravioli al funghi – the flavor of the homemade ravioli, the selection of mushrooms, and the cream sauce is a heavenly trio.I’ve referred many people here and have never been embarrassed to do so. Pasta Bella is, in a word, consistent.
Happy hour is great. I love there happy hour. My boyfriend and I order a bunch ofDifferent items and its all great. Yummy food
Pasta Bella more than lived up to it’s name. Wonderful, very attentive service, a great recommendation for chianti to accompany our fresh, made-to-order meal , and the appetizers had my friend raving. My manicotti was absurdly good and capped off the evening nicely. The prices were fair and the atmosphere relaxed and intimate. I highly recommend Pasta Bella.
