Worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The sauce had no flavor and the toppings were buried in the sauce. We had the deep dish and it had no flavor either. It just tasted like thick bread. The only good thing was the chicken Caesar salad. The service was terrible as well. Our waitress refused to cut the slices of pizza and told us we needed to figure it out ourselves with a butter knife. I’ll never go back.
Went here with a friend for happy hour and enjoyed a personal-sized pizza as well as $2 off of my favorite IPA. Apparently they are known for their deep-dish pizzas, but as someone who thinks it’s nonsense to put sauce on top of toppings, I went for their thin crust. It was incredibly good, so I’m here to let it be known that this place has some A+ thin crust pizza too. Also, our waitress Stina was my absolute favorite. Thank you Stina! Yay Stina!! -.5 stars because of the relentless Christmas music
In Italy, you order one pizza per person. In America, doing that will bankrupt you. Patxi’s thin crust pizzas are the most authentically Italian pizzas I’ve had in America, which is both a great compliment, and a significant drawback since they’re sold at American prices. If you can afford to get enough, or if you don’t need to eat a lot, then this is the place to go.
Gluten Free Smoked Pancetta Pizza. Holy wow. The best gluten free pizza in town. I ate the whole thing.
Wonderful Chicago-style pizza, and staff. Delicious Chicago-Style pizza. I’m a Chicago guy and was won over. The staff was so polite and genuine.Steve & Laura
Beat Pizza in Ballard. Bar-None best pizza in Ballard. Sauce is perfect and not overly sweet at all (as another reviewer said) in fact it tastes perfectly intensely tomatoey fresh! Wow!
Meh.. Better than Pizza Hut, not as good as several local pizzas. We had the thin crust, which was okay, but still a bit raw near the thicker rim. Sauce is a bit sweet, toppings are generally good (though the sausage was ground too fine). Staff are new, but attentive to the point of being obsequious – it seems most are new transplants to Seattle. Not sure if this is intentional, or accidental.I’d put this on a par with Stoneburner (down the street), but not as good as Delancy’s.
