This place was an unexpected surprise for us. The dishes in here are not the usual Thai food like most Thai restaurants. Their dishes are quite unique and creative. The salad tasted fresh, but the dressing can be a little string after a while. The grilled trout was also good. The curry noodle was different and also excellent.
Went for lunch and were disappointed. Nothing wrong with the food but given the hype and reviews we expected more. Decor is interesting. The service was ok, albeit slow. Our questions were answered well and suggestions offered. To me the restaurant just lacked something. Food is typically spicy so unless you really like heat stick to X 1 chili.
Not your regular thai restaurant. This restaurant features northern Thai food. Their dishes have stronger flavor than the typical Thai food; mints, basil and red onion are frequently used ingredients. A lot of dishes are served with sticky rice, although you can also ask for white rice. I highly recommend Kao Soi (thai curry w egg noodles) and Yum Larb Isan (with chicken).
The delicious cuisine and professional service was great. The fumes from the nearby nail salon were horrible. Had I not been there w/ a friend who was excited to introduce me to the place I would have turned around and left after three steps through the door. Not everyone notices the smell of salon chemicals but I do. The spicy broccoli and pork belly and Guay Tiow Tom Yum soup, as amazing as they were, could not distract me from the fumes burning my sinuses and the headache it triggered. The owner should take action to force the nail salon to install adequate air filters. Seriously. I would totally go back and explore their menu if their business neighbors cleaned up the air quality. For folks who don’t notice acetone fumes, have at it. The food is surprisingly different than standard Thai, and infinently better IMHO.
Best Thai food I have had in a while.. The dish I had today reminds me of a Thai restaurant that I loved in downtown Edmonds that closed about 10 years ago.I had the Neua Yaang (Grilled Beef, $10.00) today and it reminded me of the spicy steak I loved many years ago.The beef was cooked perfectly, the sauce was spicy and the rice was nice and sticky ($2.00 dollars extra).Service was good and the decor was nice. The only thing I didn’t like was that the water they served me was warm.(Pictures are posted of this meal.)
Authentic Thai, based on 2 weeks in Thailand . Definitely has the sweet, salty, spicy and sour all in right proportions!! Will return!
It was SOOO delicious! I made my boyfriend try it (he claims to dislike Thai food) and he instantly fell in love. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful in helping us to choose what to eat, she told us about the specials (something I had neglected to see) and it sounded so good we ordered it and the chicken wings as well. It was so tasty and priced very modestly for how good it was. The portions were perfect and I still can’t get over how great a dining experience it was! I definitely recommend eating there. It’s my new favorite Thai place!
