Cheap, speedy service and decent pho. I found Vietnam Restaurant yesterday while wandering around Ballard for a quick, cheap meal. With that in mind, the eatery perfectly succeeded in providing an affordable (cheapest Pho I’ve seen in Seattle), edible bite. The beef brisket pho broth was good (but not great) and the cream puffs were bland and forgettable. However the spring rolls and accompanying sauce were delicious. While the employees were abrupt, I wouldn’t consider them rude, and while the place looks like it hadnt been updated in years, it wasn’t particularly dirty. It also appears that the old credit card complaints are out of date, as they also accept VISA now.
Decent pho. Feeling a bit under the weather, my family and I decided to cancel our seafood plans and decided to go for something hot and soupy. I found this restaurant via my US app and since it was close to our hotel, we decided to give them a try. It appears that this restaurant only specializes in pho and to me, that is a welcoming change to all the other Asians restaurants that sometimes have way too much variety and end up suffering in quality. This restaurant is small but has a steady flow of customers. Our pho arrived quickly after ordering and it was piping hot (also came with a cream puff for dessert). Large portions, good soup base and more toppings (meat) that I can handle. Sadly, I can say it taste better than some of the Viet restaurants back home in Calgary. Prices were also very cheap comparing to back home. I’m glad we gave them a try! followmyfoodtrail.wordpress.com
Unremarkable, but decent. This is decent middle-of-the-road Pho. It’s not exceptional but it’s not bad either. The broth was average, the quality of meat was above average, and the prices are very good. A little light on the quantities of additives (basil and sprouts), but not too bad. All in all, if you are OK with Than Brothers, you’ll like this more. Best in Seattle? No way.
Best Pho in Seattle!!!. Best Pho in Seattle hands down!!!!
