Manna from heaven!. Tall Grass makes everything fresh, everyday–The olive bread, the Italian loaf, the dark brown bread, the challah. Ah, a great bread bakery. As always, breads are really best hot, but they seem to bake all day so you don’t need to wake with the rooster to get it fresh out of the oven. My favorites are the breadsticks and it’s something of an arduous task for me to carry them all the way home without tearing into one before putting them up in the cabinet. They also make a really incredible Pullman loaf — basically the fore bearer of wonder bread and all of the square American sandwich breads — except at Tall Grass it’s made with organic whole wheat, sea salt, and tastes like manna from heaven because that is what it is!
