The fried chicken burger was big and juicy! I like the Memphis sauce, but wanted more of a deep BBQ flavor from it.

Really small, very casual place. Order at the counter, grab one of the 6 tables type place. They have 3 or 4 beers on tap. I get the pulled pork sandwich and play with the 6 or so sauces they provide. I really like this place.

Boar’s Nest Rocks. Great staff and Best BBQ in Seattle!! I’ve never had a bad meal at this place. Go check it out!

My southern chicken sandwich was disappointing. Small stringy piece with a bun and 2 pickle slices, I don’t think they really took much interest in serving me a good meal, they were too busy watching the mariners game that dominated the seating area. The collards were too vinegary. Evan enjoyed his though. Wouldn’t go back, personally. Ballard has plenty of other places to go to eat.

Solid BBQ and a good price. Only been once but I will be back again very soon. The fried chicken sandwich was excellent and the way they keep the chicken moist is amazing- the sauces were all good and in particular I liked the mustard sauce.I am looking forward to trying more of the sandwiches as soon as I can.

It was AWESOME. Stopped by for some lunch with my rather particular mother and my two kids. The youngest tried the FRIED MACARONI AND CHEESE, and we all tasted it and LOVED it. My mother had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the PIG IN A GARDEN salad. The pulled pork was amazing. I thought the prices are right on for most of the area. The service was great. The place was clean. And the food was amazing. We’re definitely going back.
