Just had a terrible experience here. Staff was rude and condescending. We stood at the counter waiting to be seated for nearly 10 minutes while the staff ignored us and once they deigned us with their waitlist, they were rude and hostile. This place is not kid-friendly–literal scowls at my kid. All this for cold, overpriced food. Save your time and energy and don’t trek to the burbs for this lousy breakfast spot.
After so many attempts to try to get a spot there..we finally got in today for breakfast! The egg bakes both in Carrozza and alla Boscaiola is not overly done. It definitely reminded me of Melbourne. We also tried the Eggs Benedicts with Pancetta and the Hollandaise is beautifully done. Definitely a place that I will want to go back over and over again.

Hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! thehungrydogblog.com
Absolutely delicious! One of the best places to go for breakfast/brunch in Ballard. Go early because there will be a line of people waiting. Enjoy!
After an hour of standing around waiting for a table, we went up getting a tiny table that wobbled. Breakfast for two involved eggs benediction and a scrambled egg dish that somehow was supposed to involve potatoes and bacon. The hollandaise on the eggs benedict was beyond bland, the eggs watery and undercooked (even for benedict!) and we both spent the rest of the day regretting the decision to wait through the poor service and to actually eat underdone eggs. No amount of decor can make up for the fact that the food was bland, underdone, and poorly prepared.
