We just got into town to visit family for the holidays and we were hungry. So after checking into our hotel we headed to the BBC. It is kid friendly and the staff is remarkable. The food is fantastic. I had the Bel Red Dip (I think that is what it is called) and it was delicious! The kids had pepperoni pizza and loved it. My wife had the BLT and thought it was really good. What made this experience wonderful though, was the staff. They were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Their knowledge about beer was impressive. I had the Oatmeal Stout and I was very happy with it. The downside, they don’t sell it by the growler. I would not hesitate to go back!
Great beer and food. Spotty service and horribly loud.. Overall, love the beer and food. The IPA may be toooo drinkable. Yum. Decent prices, good variety of food, even a nice kids menu which is unusual for a brewery. The only thing that is consistently bad is the noise level. It’s so loud you have to practically shout to hear your table mate. They need to do something about the sound echoing. Also, I’ve been there three times and each time I had to get up and go find a server for something I needed, whether a missing menu item or just our bill after we’d waited a long time. If they fix these two things, much higher rating.
Great happy hour. I stopped here here for the third time to meet up with some old coworkers. I got there a bit early and started off with a Finnriver Current cider that they had on tap and loved it. When everyone got there I moved on the Grizzly cider and some street tacos. Both were very tasty and the location was great for a rowdy group like ours.
Hometown feel. Every single time I/we sit at the bar, there are always great people to chat with. sometimes one, or two or three. Great crowd. great staff. great food. great beer. love the sports screen crowd too. Can never go wrong here.
Excellent food and service!!!. My wife and I made the trip from Seattle to Bellevue today for lunch at the Bellevue Brewing Co.My wife had the Ploughman’s Platter ($12.99). It was a wonderful collection of different meats and cheeses and a couple of veggies and a few slices of baugette bread. Spicy Capicolla beef, Salami, Prociutto, Coppa. The meal included Beechers Flagship Cheddar and Willipa Bay Big Boy Blue cheese and half a apple and almonds and a stone ground, spicy mustard. The only bad thing about the meal was that the head of garlic with the meal was raw. If they can make such a wonderful repast as this, why can they not roast a head of garlic? My wife asked for another head of garlic and out waitress brought one back that had been roasted on the grill but it was still raw inside and not gooey/gushy like a real roasted head of garlic.I had the Cubano Especiale’. Tender pulled pork, ham, swiss cheese and garlic aioli on a ciabatta roll ($12.99) and a side salad with the house made parmesian cheese balsamic vinagrette. The side salad and the salad dressing were excellent. The salad had chopped tomato, chopped cucumber, feta cheese. The salad dressing had a ton of flavor!I had a Bellevue Brown ale and my wife had a Blonde ale.Our waitress, Ayla (Ale-a, how appropo when you work at a brewery, yes?) was very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful in answering our questions and gave us excellent service.(Pictures are posted of this meal.)22 Jun, 2013The beer is really good.. We stopped in to have a beer. The Scotch ale I had was quite tasty it was slightly smokey and sweet with a slightly hoppy edge at the end. We didn’t have any food but someone at the bar ordered nachos. The nachos come in a huge portion, enough for 2 people. Big and messy! The brewery is huge also. Plenty of seating and a projection tv on the wall over the kitchen. Kinda dark inside but not to bad.
User reviews. I recommend the Cubano Especiale and the Tuscan Chop Chop Salad!
