Holy cow, this food is to die for! It’s definitely a bit pricey for Mexican Style food, but it is so worth it. The beef fajita skillet is amazing, and they have some of the best rice in town. The jalapeo lemonade is intense, but worth a try. Love this place!!
Dined here with my cousin last Saturday night and we were impressed with the cocktail menu. I tried the cucumber agave vodka cocktail and it was super delicious. Ordered the steak just because I’ve not tried steak with Mexican flavours. The corn and the black bean mash were perfect accompaniments and complaint the whole plate. Tried my best to finish the portion hector was that delicious but it was just too much for me at one go.
Food was great. Atmosphere was fun. Staff was attentive. Like some others i will miss Z Tejas cornbread but Cactus defiantly fill the desire for great food. Will defiantly be back
I’ve been to Cactus twice. The food never disappoints. I plan in going again and trying everything on the menu. Side note: The floors are always dirty and there’s always food and crumbs everywhere, apart from that they get a 5/5 from me.
My favourite cactus outlet is the one in Kirkland but on this visit didn’t get time to go to that one. The one on Bellevue is new (it wasn’t there when I lived in Redmond till a few years ago) located where the old z Tejas used to be ( RIP z Tejas- I will miss your incredible corn bread with honey and butter) Had the potato taco- it was a very filling plate, but found the potatoes to be a touch overdone. I enjoyed the meal but somehow was expecting more. The husband had chicken enchiladas which were great. Used to love the fact that they serve complimentary chips and salsa- not the case any more. Which is a bummer. Oh well. Will stick to the Kirkland outlet for my next visit to Seattle.
This branch of Cactus is hit or miss. The prickly pear margarita is delicious. The shredded beef burrito is tasty, too. The enchiladas are fair. Skimpy filling for the price.
Mexican no, Tex Mex yes. Service was slow to respond. Great exotic drinks but did not have basic soft drinks for the kids. Food is good for Tex Mex.
