Love this place. It’s a little on the pricier side for me, but the taste is great and staff is always friendly and welcoming. Like another reviewer mentioned, it’s nice to see these smaller, more intimate places thrive. Would recommend to anyone as a great place for a nice treat.
User reviews. I have been searching for a truly great pastrami sandwich in Western Washington, and though my quest will continue, I think that I have already found the winner. The New York style pastrami at Gilbert’s on Main is truly insanely great. It’s NY style by virtue of size – a full pound of hot, delicious, flavorful pastrami, served on good rye bread with a schmear of spicy mustard. That’s it. Beautiful in it’s simplicity, each ingredient is top notch. The resulting sandwich is nearly as big as your head, and would easily make a meal for two diners a bit less gluttonous than I. Not cheap at $21.95, but still a great value given the portion size.The Seattle style pastrami is more reasonably priced and sized, at a still healthy half pound of pastrami.Sandwich is served with a very tasty side of potato salad and a kosher dill spear.Until further notice, this is The Best Pastrami Sandwich in Seattle. Hands down!
Recently went for lunch with a coworker and had one of their sandwich specials – was a curry chicken salad. Found it to be extremely flavorful and filling. I’m happy to see places like this stay in business for as long as they have. The owner is present and involved in taking care of his customers.
The BEST breakfast in Bellevue!. I try to mix it up a bit between omelets, scrambles and pancakes and it’s always consistently delicious! My daughter ordered lunch today and raved about her sandwich and potato salad. The portions are large, and can be shared, but after tasting the food we bet you’ll want to enjoy it all yourself! Steve is usually on-site and so personable. If you go enough he gets to know everyone!

Great food, friendly people. This is a great deli. Great food, very nice people. I had a roast beef and cheddar sandwich and it was terrific. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. Check this place out, you will be glad you did!
@Bobby Fink. A fabulous corned beef sandwich. The only one in King County that replicates the Chicago and New York Delis. More people need to find out about this place! Will be back to try the bagels this weekend.
