I am not one to complain, but I just ordered the worst tasting meal I have EVER had in my life. I ordered the macadamia nut chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and I received a burnt chicken breast that tastes and smells like old frying oil. disgusting! Instead of getting the mashed potatoes I ordered they sent me rice and then some vegetables that mostly consisted of onions…and I love onions but for $30 I don’t think so. I thought I would splurge so I ordered the flan….hmm, it ended up being a piece of pecan pie with caramel sauce! Extremely disappointed and will never eat there again. Unfortunately I am staying at the Red Lion in Bellevue, so unless I wanted to drive somewhere, not many options!
Yummy. OK, so I read the reviews here and was disheartened, but since I am literally feet from the restaurant and I’m tired and hungary, I decided to try Jonah’s. I had the salmon salad with warm sesame dressing. It was amazing. The salmon was done perfectly. I am so glad I am a risk taker tonight. And, I will go back tomorrow.
A Terrible Experience!. I took a few friends to Jonah’s, I ordered the filet mignon, the waitress asked how I wanted it cooked, I answered, I want the chef to cook it how he thinks it should be cooked. What she brought me was a filet mignon cut in small strips and cooked to a crisp. The cook sure showed me. In his mind I did not give him the right answer. I will never go back! It was a terrible experience! Rich
My wife and I visited Jonah’s Restaurant because we had a 2-for-1 coupon in the Entertainment Book and were in the Bellevue area. While the menu looked promising, the food was bland and overpriced. We will not be going back, even with another coupon.
