Came here with the whole family for birthday celebration. The family style per person cost has gone up from the last time we came. We opted for the Marco’s dinner for two, which was more than enough. The salad, calamari, pastas were all quite good, plus we had additional pastas to bring home. Desserts were good as well.
I loved the ambience of the restaurant with its full on red and white checkered tablecloths and wood finishings. Elegant and yet still warm and friendly. Service was fine-professional, efficient and unobtrusive. Bread was served with oil and vinegar, as it should be, dispensed by our server and a request for lemons for our waters was promptly filled with a bowl of wedges. The serving portions were large and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals but I didn’t hear anyone else raving about the food. That was consistent with my impressions of the chicken marsala I had. The chicken itself was good with a slew of button mushrooms on the side. The bowl of spaghetti on the side left me cold. No sauce. No taste. A bit of an afterthought. Everyone left satisfied but for some indiscernible reason this place just doesn’t quite rise to the next level.
I dined here three times and all the three times I’ve visited, my experiences were horrible. The servers lack hospitality, competence, and professionalism. The food is mediocre, tasteless, and ridiculously priced. The hosts don’t seat you right away. Even if you make a reservation months in advance, they’re going to seat you an hour later. The servers take a long time to bring out drinks and food. They usually bring you the wrong entre as well. I’m sick of this place. It’s nothing special.
Very average Italian food. The portions are large and they have some good deals in terms of value, but overall what does it matter if the food isn’t that great? The service is friendly, but the few times I have been they can get bogged down with the rush at times.
We recently went for a team lunch (5 of us) to this place and the food here rocks! If you are looking for good Italian food around Bellevue, then this is the place. The service was great!! Considering 3 of us were Indians, the waitress was kind enough to ask for our spice preferences. We ordered Mozzarella Marinara and Margerita Flatbread for appetizers, Chicken Parmesan (2), Rigatoni D, Grilled Salmon, Spagetti with Shrimp for the mains. We were so full when we were done with the mains that we didnt have an appetite for dessert. But the waitress was sweet to get one for us on the house. Will I visit again – Yes!
Second time going to a Maggiano’s and everything went well as anticipated. The buy one take one home deal is great to plan the next day’s meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, very approachable, and was eager to help with the menu choices. I would definitely dine here again on my next visit to Bellevue.
Very expensive, Not very good. The servicer was very nice. The food was, well food… Nothing special and definitely not worth the price!!! The marinara sauce was tomato past-y flavored. Not very good. I had the chicken parmesan and it had A (as in 1) slice of cheese, the chicken was flavorless. It was boring. My husband had the linguine in white clam sauce. There were quite a few clams (no clam fork), the white sauce was just a little garlic and oil. Not white sauce. The weirdest part to me was for the price no one asked if I wanted fresh parmesan cheese on my spaghetti. We will NOT ever go back!
