One of the few sit-down spots in Bellevue serving breakfast (starting as early as 6:30 am!) on weekdays! Met a friend for breakfast here on this visit- ordered the bell pepper frittata with ricotta cheese. It was alright. The frittata itself could have been seasoned better. The dollops of ricotta cheese did make it come alive for me though. The multi grain toast accompanying the frittata was excellent. The cappuccino though was awful-watery and weak and just not what it should be. The feel of the place is nice and airy. At happy hour it does get chaotic so I did enjoy the calm of the morning. I have previously enjoyed their oatmeal ( my go to breakfast) so would probably stick to that next time I am in Bellevue and looking for breakfast!
So wanted this to be a great experience, but it wasn’t. Sat at the bar. Easter afternoon. It was just after lunch time. Not too busy. Bartender gave me a menu, I ordered off of it. Apparently he gave me the wrong menu. He told me that the kitchen probably won’t make what I ordered, as it’s not on the brunch menu. He didn’t even check with the kitchen, then handed me a brunch menu and apologized. I found something else to order (burger and fries per his recommendation) that I wasn’t really craving, but was hungry even though I was told I couldn’t order the pizza I wanted. The burger was overlooked and my fries were soggy and warm. I asked for new fries and they were fresh and crispy. Lots of effort on my part for a mediocre at best expensive lunch/brunch at the bar. The Bellini was the best part. I’m usually a Palomino fan, but not on Sundays or Holidays again.
Food was good, family feel. Unfortunately the service was slow. Only 2 in our party and tables with 5+ seemed to be more important
Awful food and worse service- half way through dinner waitress throws down check- guess there’s no dessert here? Pathetic and what a waste of a meal- this is the second time this place has proven to have lousy service- avoid it- it wasn’t just a fluke the first time. I have never felt so rushed before! And what is even more pathetic is the tasteless food that tastes like a bad TV dinner from qfc.
No hollidase sauce ready first in am . Bad bad move Chief. You do not have your act together. That took half your dishes off your smaller than small menu. That what I came for . Fools!!! Not coming back. No one else should either.
The food is sooo salty. I also think their chefs need to read there menus, lots of missing components. First and last time we go there.:-(
Fantastic. This restaurant is my husbands and I start to every date we have on Saturdays…we start here at noon for the bloody mary bar and pepperoni pizza and visit with Melissa the best bartender. We have never been disappointed and Love this place.
