White Guy Pho – at best…. Bland, overly sweet broth, limp and meager selection of herbs (just basil), and a lack of traditional meat choices makes this a must-skip choice in Bellevue. It’s near my office building so I thought I’d give it a try. One try is all it gets though… the menu is lacking and the food aspires to be mediocre. How can you have a pho restaurant without tendon or tripe on the menu? How do you call yourself a banh mi place without pate (bnh m pt)? Pho Cyclo aspires to figure that out… unfortunately, their great experiment in mediocracy should send you running for any number of nearby places that do pho better.
