Extremely disappointed. I’d like to preface this short review with the fact that I have been a very loyal customer for four years and have spent god knows how much money on drinks in this humble establishment and have enjoyed every penny spent. HOWEVER, after new staff was hired earlier this year, I have gotten poor service, very mediocre drinks, and have even been insulted by one of the baristas based on a conversation we were having about what I was doing that day. The new staff is rude, has very little experience making drinks and don’t even know how to make tea! They’re even messy and unprofessional to boot, giving me drinks on saucers full of liquid and even complaining to me about other customers. I went there to sit down a study for a few hours and buy a couple of drinks, not act as a barista’s punching bag and shrink. They’re paid to serve the customer, not the other way around. I’m sorry, but I’m not spending my cash to get petty jabs at my educational background and be served terrible drinks. I’m giving T’Latte a year to get its act together, and if I’m still getting the same experience later on then they have lost a customer for life. Don’t support businesses that hire people like this, because it says a lot about the management.
This is not a restaurant at all, but a garden court adjoining the Italian named condo for wealthy urbanites. T’Latte serves coffee mostly, some tea, some art appears as though a gallery for well known artists at times. It is comfortable alone, but terribly busy at times.
Nothing Fancy. Just good tea and coffee in a relaxing atmosphere.
