Food was okay but the service is really awful. We were asked for a feedback on their menu changes but when we gave a candid feedback they were extremely rude about it.There buffet is pricey and have limited options. You can have better Indian food in other restaurants like Spice route or Mayuri.
Food was horrible. Behavior of the manager is awful. There is no proper service at all. We went in a group with kids, I can’t believe with nonsense behavior towards children. When Nan was asked to be served again Managerand serving lady was same, I can’t believe she mentioned that 2 nans are left in a basket First you finish that then ONLY we will provide , I said no we can’t that Nan as its cold and become hard… She was insisting/ forcingto eat that. I lost my patience we decided to leave the restaurant as her behavior was disgusting.I didn’t know serving lady was manager…We paid the amount and when we checked the bill Gratuity was charged @15% without our knowledge. It was cheapI would like to highlight to everyone who ever goes to Taj Palace please don’t visit the place its highly charged with out good quality and notice your bill regarding gratuity???. No proper customer service and awful language used, She wasn’t good with children too… PLEASE DO NOT GO TO TAJ PALACE, ITS NOT WORTH IT…..
Horrible experience! We ordered our entrees mild as we have small kids. The food that we got were very spicy (we eat Indian cuisine frequently). Sent them back and they brought out spicier food. After 3 tries we gave up. We had to eat the naan because our mouthed were burning. After deciding they were not going to make it right we got our bill. I discussed the bill with the owner who lost his temper and ripped up the bill that was for our family and our friends. Then he threw my card at me. Our friends were fine paying as they ate their food. As we were leaving he came up and grabbed the leftovers out of our friend’s hand. What a hot head who doesn’t care about his costumers. Try the restaurant but don’t dare send something back or the owner might flip out. What a horrible experience and we left starving!
Oh ! The pakoras were nice. I loved garlic naam a lot and the butter chicken was really amazing . Loved the ambience. I’d highly recommend going to this place if you want some Indian food and Indian feel.
Costly as compared to other hotel in the area. Lassi was best. Food is not worth the price. Other hotel have around 10-13$ weekend buffet, they are more then 13 . Test was OK little oily.
Themed in pure Indian culture emphasizing on the iconic Taj Mahal, this is a must go to for every Indian foodie. The Hindi songs will help create a nostalgia added by the lovely food.
Buffet is good and consistent. Always had good dining experience.
