Wild Ginger is now in Lincoln Square Expansion South building. Since we made a reservation, we were seated quickly, as it was quite full. We ordered the vegetarian curry and Malaysia Chow Fun. Food came surprisingly quick. The curry was reasonable, not too salty and tasty. The chow fun was very good, with ample spices.

It’s a nice place with nice choices. The flavor is so Americanized it’s hard to determine where ethnicity begins. We started with the lamb satay. Well cooked and seasoned. The peanut sauce was bland. We had two dishes: the duck which comes with the sticky (ban mi) buns and seven flavor flank steak. Both delicious but yet missing the mark for uniqueness. Nice place overall. They definitely need an overhaul.

Really unimpressed. Our server made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The food was barely warm when served, and not very flavourful. We ordered Kung pow chicken and Panang beef and both were really bland and not spicy at all. I can’t handle super spicy, but I expect a little kick with both of these dishes. They did use quality meat for both dished which we appreciated. The beer was good, and the only enjoyable part of the meal.

I have heard many things about Wild Ginger but had never been. Someone told me they had a decent happy hour so I decided to go. I wasn’t super impressed because many of the flavors were pretty basic. The drinks didn’t wow me like I expected. The service was good but a few of the dishes took very long to arrive, not the servers fault but something was going on in that kitchen especially because it wasn’t very busy. Maybe I will come back and try the full dinner menu someday, but chances are slim.

What should I say about this place. One of the most awesome place in Bellevue.Ordered thai chicken satay and kung pao chicken with fried rice and the dishes are simply to die for.Although its a but expensive place but worth visiting once.

The food was tasty and exotic, a way to really expand one’s gastronomic horizons. I particularly liked the Wild Ginger Fragrant Duck, served with soft white buns and a side of plum sauce. The sweetness of the sauce is a good complement to the flavor of the duck. I also appreciated the great view of Bellevue that the window tables provide. beingjellybeans.com

Bad Experience. Horrible service, over priced and small portions. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Should be able to go and leave full for $160.00.
