Wonderful Food. We made a special trip to the corner of Smith and Hannegan today (after trying Bare Bones at the Ferndale Street Festival). We didn’t see anything, turned right onto Smith, looked back, and there it was – a smoking little open food truck on the SW corner. So we did a u-turn and tried the beef sandwich and the pork sandwich – both with the weekend baked potato – and got ribs to go. It wasn’t even 12:30 and BBBBQ was on the last rack of ribs. We were lucky! We will be back.

Youve Got To Check This Place Out. This little BBQ trailer serves up the best barbeque I have tasted in Whatcom County. We stopped by here today for lunch and to pick up a rack of ribs for dinner. At lunch, I had the beef sandwich with a side of coleslaw and my wife had the pork sandwich. Both sandwiches were great. The meat was lean but very tender, the smoke flavor (they use mainly Alder wood) was pronounced but not overwhelming, the bun was good and the portion was generous. You cant ask for much more than that. The only glitch in our lunch was my coleslaw, which featured great ingredients and was very fresh but seemed not to have any dressing at all. Perhaps I should have asked for some. However, the serving size was large. I should also add that the BBQ sauce was not bad at all. I would prefer it a little spicier, but I tend to like spicy food. We warmed up the ribs for dinner and they were some of the best ribs I can remember eating: fall off the bone tender and very tasty. I was a little put off by the price of the ribs: $25, but the portion size is huge and will easily feed four or five people. Another thing I like about this place is that they appear to cook their meat with a dry rub, and let you add the amount of sauce you want. Most places mix the sauce in for you, and I always think the meat is over sauced. Its home base is at the intersection of State and Grand Streets, but they also cook at a number of different places. Check out their web site to see where they will be cooking. If you like barbeque, youve got to check this place out.

Finally Great BBQ in Bham. Great authentic BBQ. Great smoke flavor on all there meats. I get the pulled pork sandwich. Its a killer sandwich! Cole slaw is pretty good too. Top it off with an orange soda and life is good.

AMAZING. I like BBQ, but I also like lean meat which can be tough to find the two together. Bare Bones BBQ has mastered this. I had the ribs which were so tender they just fell off the bone. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and I was lucky he saved me a bite…it was delicious as was the coleslaw. Kelly and Gina know BBQ, they know good customer service and they are two of the friendliest people I have ever met. I am sold on their product. I will be using their fabulous BBQ for my next get together not to mention it will be a regular lunch stop for us. Their prices are more than reasonable. If you haven’t tried them…they are well worth the trip!

Mouth-watering good. The best pulled pork sandwich ever !! I was so impressed I ordered pork butts and ribs for our family get-together in November. Gina threw in a cranberry barbecue sauce that is out of this world! One of my daughters is a caterer and is very discerning when it comes to food. She agreed both the ribs and pulled pork sandwiches were outstanding.

Good STUFF!. Kelly and Gina are the real deal! I ordered a brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The meat was tender, juicy and had great flavor. I can’t wait to try their other offerings.Perhaps after Thanksgiving I’ll swing by for another helping. 🙂
