Nice Taco Truck. El Tapatio is a taco truck with two or three locations in Bellingham. Unfortunately, none of them are in downtown Bellingham, so a lot of people are missing out on a Good Thing. Weve sampled their burritos, tamales, tortas and chile rellenos, and found everything to be first rate. Dont know what some other reviewers are talking about when they say there isnt much meat in the burritos. Our meals have had more meat than any taco truck weve sampled. Unlike some of the competition, you wont find burritos loaded with potatoes, rice, beans and just microscopic amounts of meat here. Ive been particularly impressed with their chicken burritos, which are just stuffed with chicken and have a reasonable amount of rice and no beans or potatoes whatsoever, and I also like their chile rellenos, which are very tasty. The tamales are also very good.
Birch Bay Truck. Love the food but the hours are very unreliable. Many times have gone to get dinner here and they are CLOSED. Their hours are limited enough as it is ~ they should post some hours and stick to them. At the very least they could maintain a fb page and post when they are not open so that time and gas isn’t wasted driving over there to find them CLOSED!
USED to be best taco truck in town. I have been going to this taco truck for a few years now – in the beginning when the owner worked the truck the burritos were amazing — good amount of meat/ rice ratio and always avacado. I have to say that it is been on the decline for at a least a year. I still go there every once and awhile because I work down the street. Today I decided to give it one last shot. That is the last burrito I will eat here. the price keeps going up and the meat keeps dissapearing. My burrito today had 90% rice, 5% carne asada and 5% cabbage. So bummed.
Favorite Taco Truck. We’ve been going to this taco truck ever since we discovered it. Didn’t care for the bricks and mortar restaurant; last meal we had there, my husband’s carne asada smelled spoiled and my chicken was dried up and old.They now have a truck on Grandview. We were there Tuesday, put in an order, tipped, and then waited. Someone who came to the truck a few minutes after we did received his order before we did – not a call-in. That put me off a bit especially since he kept all of his change and didn’t tip. Maybe I’m too sensitive but this really annoyed me.
Hands down. My first visit to a taco truck and boy was I surprised. That was the some of the best food. The wait was short, the price was great and the food fantastic.
Awesome mexican!. I’ve been coming to this taco truck for about a year now. I come down from Vancouver just to visit. They have amazing tacos, tamales, and the pambazo sandwich. They had a restaurant but sadly it closed. The new restaurant that is in its place doesn’t compare. Kind of sad its gone! Glad the trucks are still around!!
