Very Fine BBQ. We stopped by Kulshan Brewery to grab some take out at JTs BBQ. This used to be the spot that Rolln Smoke BBQ often cooked at, and JTs is a more than worthy successor. We tried the brisket sandwich with spicy sauce, the coleslaw, the ribs and the baked beans. The brisket sandwich was ample and very, very good, including the bun. The sauce is not too spicy, and also not overly sweet (I dont like super sweet BBQ sauces). The slaw was nice and crispy and was not overdressed like most commercial versions of this dish are, but the dressing could have used a little more acidity. A little lemon juice or even apple cider vinegar would be a welcome addition. The ribs were great, as were the beans, which appeared to be a mixture of pinto, kidney and black beans (Im guessing here) in a nice but not too sweet sauce with a little meat (probably pork) thrown in. All in all, this was some of the best BBQ weve had in Whatcom County
