My jusband and I stopped in Bellingham to visit family who live nearby. We decided to try the Mykonos restaurant because the reviews for most of the other restaurants nearby were mixed at best. This turned out to be a winner. One of the best Greek food restaurants we’ve ever experienced! I had the samplerplate, dolmades, and greek salad, my husband had the feta and olive plate as well as the roasted half chicken with potatoes. Every thing tasted fresh, delicious and the service couldn’t have been better. We had no complaints at all, and would definitely come back to eat here next time we’re in town.Bill and Cynthia HattingUtah

Several years ago, we had the misfortune of living in a trailer at Bellingham RV Park while our new home was being built. Trailer living is not fun, but one redeeming factor was that Mykonos Greek Restaurant was only a few hundred feet away. We dined there many times, and the food was always good. Here are some of the dishes weve sampled.Calamari appetizer: very good.Broiled lamb chops: very mild lamb perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, just great.Dolmades appetizer: very good.Lamb brochette: outstanding. Rice: outstandingSampler appetizer: two each of the following: Keftedes (Greek meatballs), Spanakopita (spinach with a little feta cheese and seasonings in a flaky pastry, and Tyropitakia (various cheeses and spices in phyllo dough), all served with generous amounts of tzatziki sauce, hummus and pita bread. It was great.Caesar salad: only average- not enough acidity in the dressing and too many large ribs in the lettuce.Dolmades (Grape leaves stuffed with rice, ground beef and spices and finished with a lemon sauce along with a side of roasted potatoes): great.Potatoes: lightly spiced and cooked to perfection goodness.Moussaka (Greek casserole made with eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and ground sirloin, topped with Bechamel sauce and served with rice): very good. This remains my favorite Greek restaurant in Bellingham. Dont know where some of the negative reviews are coming from. The restaurant is clean, and the dcor, while dated a bit, is much better than many of the better restaurants in Bellingham. Besides, I eat food, not furniture. If youve never been here, I highly recommend that you start with one of the lamb entres. The lamb here is the best in Bellingham, bar none.

Good food horrible service. We used to love it but now Poor customer service. Rude and unapologetic. Don’t go unless you have a few hours to kill And if you don’t have that time don’t expect an apology for waiting an hour with nothing but a drink that btw they won’t come by and refill. Wait staff disappear into the back and never seem to come out to be helpful. Don’t bother talking to the manager she’ll blame the customer for not being patient!

OMG the Calamari!!. Mykonos is great for service and food. Love going just for their calamari, but the lamb gyro, and any of their greek specialties are amazing.

Get a broom and a dust cloth!. Okay,, good greek food okay… but it is time they did a thorough cleaning in the place! Dust piled up on the artificial plants… this place needs to be viewed with a fresh eye…. if you fall down in the basic housekeeping what is going on in the kitchen?

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had 2 out of the 3 times ive eaten there. The food is amazing. If you’re African American the customers and staff really know how to make you feel not wanted in there. Good job! From a restaurant and business owner of several successful establishments I’m embarrassed for this place…

It took almost 10 minutes for anyone to great us at hostess stand, 10 minutes to get a glass of wine once we were seated. We had to find a different server than ours to get a menu. Thank heavens the food was good
