Great Dogs and Great Service!. My wife and I have been enjoying lunch here on almost a weekly basis for the last year. We absolutely love the unique, fun and tasty dogs. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion (about $5 or $6 each for large portions). We also really appreciate the truly outstanding customer service and friendly attitude of both the owner and her employee. On every occasion, they have both gone out of their way to ensure we’ve had great lunches and been a pleasure to talk to. We’ve recommended this place to a lot of friends, co-workers, and family and everyone has loved it so far.
We ate lunch their today, besides being very overpriced the chicago dog was terrible and not very close to the dogs I’ve had in Chicago. We also ordered milkshakes and they were the worst, super runny and lots of ice chunks. We also ordered the chili and there was so much cheese in it you could not really taste the chili flavor at all. I won’t be back ever.
Hours are not reliable. Was excited to eat here for the first time today ~ showed up at 3:30, just after a car load of at least 4 people in front of us. Went around the back to look at the menu because they were crowded around the front one, and when we came back around the other car was gone and she was locking up. This was about 3:35. Like she was ready to leave. I asked what the hours were and she said Sun until 4… hello? They had at least 6 people wanting to buy food and she was locked up and ready to go at 3:30?? Bad for business I’d say.Don’t rely on hours of operation.
Nothing Fancy, But Pretty Good.Hey, it’s a hot dog place. Pretty good. Drive through and take it home, or on a warm summer day sit at the outdoor counter. Lot’s of choices of hot dogs, but not much else. Like I said, it’s a hot dog place.
