I won a Scotty B’s gift card at our friends’ annual Christmas party. We don’t often go there, despite it being close to our house. We arrived in time to get some Happy Hour yam fries. I thought they were great. My daughter got edamame–she rubbed of the salt crystals and sesame seeds :^) The edamame was served with a buffalo wing sauce for dipping. At least, that’s what it tasted like to me. It was an odd choice, but of course, strangely addicting. There is a kids’ menu here, but it isn’t printed. Our waiter didn’t mention it until we pseudo-inquired about kids’ options–you’d think they would let you know if you have a 6 year old with you. Anyway, cheese quesadilla for the kid. Came with a full side of fries! The Wife got a chicken quesadilla. I thought it was nothing special, as pub quesadillas often are. I got the Pub Burger. It’s a bacon cheeseburger, with havarti. It was just barely over cooked, but it was juicy, the bun was soft and still toasty-crispy on the edges, and I love havarti. It was pretty good. We probably won’t be back often, but I’m sure we’ll come again eventually.

Love This Place. I have been here a few times and I have to say the food is amazing and the drinks are yummy! Favorite drinks are the bellini and the iceberg ( Hef with belllini). The cowboy salad is delicious, along with the dynamite roll. I like to add avocado in it as well (1$ upcharge). My absolute favorite entrees here are the almost famous blackend fish burger and the potato crusted halibut bowl. The fish is fresh and always cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly and attentive. Scotty browns is one of my favorite restaurants in Bellingham. It’s a little pricey but well worth it! Keep up the good work!!

Overpriced crappy Canadian fast-food… Nothing else to it.

I’ve eaten here several times. As far as the food goes, it’s hit or miss: sometimes it’s okay, sometimes it’s truly regrettable. One thing for sure though is that it is ALWAYS noisy, so if you’re looking for a nice, quiet place to eat, this is not for you. The customers are all over the place too. Some, like me, show up in a suit and tie. Others come in sweat pants, shorts, sandals, and wife-beater shirts. The staff should make an effort to separate those who are there in search of a good dining experience and those who are simply there to get drunk and be loud.

If you are single, under 40, this place is perfect for you. Otherwise, forget it too many drunks trying to pick up a date. Loud and the food overpriced. I’m surprised they are still in business.

Good food & service. We have eaten here twice, once in the bar back in October 2012, and last night. We were having a hard time on a Saturday night trying to find a place to get in with less than an hour wait. We got to Scotty Browns and they seated us immediately. The service was good, my drink (Mr. Pink martini) was good (my daughter-in-law’s Coral Crush was better, though-I tasted it), and my chicken cowgirl salad was GREAT. Last time, I had a low-carb chicken bowl–loved it and the fact that I didn’t have to have rice). Like the more healthy choices. Would go back in a heartbeat. Also, a great place to watch a ball game, with many screens around the bar.
