Way overpriced!!!. Food was good except I was not at all impressed that the prawns weren’t taken out of their shells prior to serving. This restaurant is way way way overpriced. They don’t include a salad with your dinner either.
Wow. Went there last night I had the pork tenderloin it was absolutely amazing…. anyone that complains about the slow service is insane. … yes it took a while to get our order but who cares! any chef I can make a meal that tasted that good can take all the time he wants as far as I’m concerned.
Bruschetta. Yum!!
Such AMAZING service this morning! Love love love The Fork and will go back there all the time. Awesome staff, awesome food, all around great restaurant. Thank you!!
Great location and atmosphere. Service has been hit or miss. The dinner I had there was fantastic and the menu was very diverse. However, the breakfast was less than what I had hoped. I had a pulled pork hash. The pork was dry and the dish was not very. I was very disappointed given how much I enjoyed their dinner.
Fabulous. Have been here multiple times for breakfast and dinner, and will continue to do so. It’s got a great feel to it; out of the way and a bit quieter than most restaurants in B’ham. We’ve enjoyed the friendly wait staff and owners, and the food is outstanding. The imaginative menu changes often. Try the shrimp and grits ( I know it sounds strange, but it’s really something)!
Great food, lousy service. It began poorly and got worse. We were the first people to be seated in the otherwise empty restaurant portion of the restaurant. We were given a highly trafficked table near the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. We asked for a better table were offered, perhaps, the only worst table. We declined and accepted ours, assuming that they had many reservations. They did not. In fact, aside from some diners outside, there was only one other couple that came in during the 1 1/2 hours that we were there. The couple was offered the same table we had declined, they asked for another, and were quickly seated at a much larger window seat. What was that about? The food is unquestioningly great. Superb, I might even say, but the wait staff are either quite bored, quite underpaid, or both. Even though we were the only people for nearly an hour, it was seemingly difficult to remember we were even there. Plates weren’t cleared, music was too loud, etc, etc. I dared to ask the waitress about some specials, but I seemed to throw her off her script and there was little information she could add other than what she had already said.Overall, a disappointing experience for what was a hefty price.
