Almost out of The Woods. It has been a long Easter Sunday and this was the last of the 12 Woods Coffee shops to visit. The Meridian location is a stand alone store with modern interior and their typical gas fire place. Something I had noticed before really stood out here. ALL of the stools and tables were mounted on ordinary black steel pipe and fittings. The centerpiece table here was a circular sheet of buffed plate steel supported by flanges, fittings & pipe all welded & bolted together. I guess this wouldn’t matter to most folks but it’s part of my day job so I took extra note of it. I may be bias but I appreciate the use of mundane items put to good use and presented well. The employees must have thought me odd taking pictues of the table…Anyway, here we finally tried a Strawberry Smoothie. It was awesome. One of the best smoothies I’ve had in a long time. It kinda makes me wish I had tried other flavors earlier in the day! A enthusiastic two thumbs up here.So the tour of The Woods Coffee comes to a close here. It has been a blast and all the employees get high marks. We just had one more stop before our long drive home…
