We were in a mood for a light dinner and went here after recommendation. But we were disappointed with the food taste. Service was upto mark though.> Cauliflower fritters – The sauce which they were covered with was very very strong on one particular flavor, (I cannot put my finger on what). Perhaps one ingredient was over-done.> Fried Tofu (with house made peanut sauce) – Tofu was well-cooked but the peanut sauce was too sweet for our dinner palate. We were left unsatisfied with above dishes and wanted to order more but the bad experience prevented us from ordering more and we wrapped up.Food Taste: 3/10Ambiance: 6/10 (Noisy)Service: 7/10Overall: 5/10

Had the most amazing mussels several years ago and have been meaning to come back. So tonight decided to book a reservation for me and my friend who wanted seafood. We ordered the oysters, octopus & calamari. Meh…the food was just ok, but the atmosphere and lighting were really good. Guess if it was a date night, atmosphere & lighting will comp for the ok food.

On a summer evening, the (original) bell town outpost of Black Bottle is probably one of the best ways to wind down a day of shopping in downtown. Love the glass doors, the great cocktails -but the one thing I have come back for over and over is that stunning grilled halloumi. Mixed mushrooms, dates and roasted bell peppers make the perfect sideshows for the star-that char-grilled, chewy, salty halloumi. I have tried to recreate this dish at home, but it never quite comes out the same way. Sigh.

Cute Little Gastropub. Cool space located on the north end of Belltown. The ambience makes me feel like I’m in NYC for some reason. Yummy small plates, creative cocktails, and good wine selection.
