Clam chowder was just ok. Nothing to brag about it. Fish was good – black cod was good and the seared tuna. Not bad. But I must say that I had better for the price we paid. Service was pleasant – but would not go back to this place. Overrated by far.
Maybe I’m the odd review here, but my lunch was eh at best. Ambiance and service was good. My ‘potato chip’ fish and chips was heavy and boring. Fish was just ok and looked like the frozen Gorton’s you have at home. Fries looked the same. FWIW, accompanying onion rings were good. Sample size of one, but not impressed.
Well, I forgot to take a picture! Food was too good! Started with raw oysters on half shell, fresh from this morning. Did not need anything else. Then had the potato chip crusted fish and chips. This is a must have! Great service and very vibrant urban atmosphere! Look forward to returning and I will then take pics.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. The restaurant looked very fancy. The staff was polite. Hands down it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.
Do not recommend. Too expensive for mediocre food. Not impressed.
