My wife and I were up here for a work thing and stopped in for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and she had the eggs Benedict, we had seen good reviews on the French toast so we ordered a plate of that as well. Service was outstanding, and we didnt have to wait long for our food. The server was very polite and professional, the kept our water and coffee full throughout the meal. The Benedict sauce and my gravy was a different that we were used to, just a different flavor, not bad but we didnt care for the taste. The French toast was still raw in the middle. Breakfast was very enjoyable and I appreciate the good service.
It’s a good place for breakfast. Had 3 slices french toast and it too heavy for me. Try 2 slice toast if you are not a heave eater. You don’t have to wait to be seated. The service was not too quick, but not too slow either.
Food was amazing but service was slow, especially cook time. Their french toast is a 12/10! Definitely will be going back and hoping to find a less busy time to go there.
Great food. Great prices. Great service. Huge portions. The Farmer’s omelette was brilliantly prepared and it’s good for two. They had a seasonal special of blueberry French toast with a twist of muffin. I hope they keep that as a permanent choice on their menu. The environment is super casual, but when you really just want great food and service, there’s no where else you need to look for breakfast. So go. It’s good. 🙂
Tpday I got up at 3 a.m. . Then we flew to Seattle. So we ate lunch at 12 a.m. . We went to CJ’s. It was delicious. I ate a grilled cheese and tomato’s on it. It was on sourdough. Yumm! So overall it was awesome. Try it!
CJ’s is unassuming from the outside but that does not do justice to the inner workings. The service is prompt and friendly on a relatively busy morning, the food is reasonably priced and quantities more than sufficient. The food quality is excellent, coffee is as good as it gets in Seattle and as today was a sunny day, we got to watch the world go by as it looks out onto two streets. I must admit, I did judge a book by its cover and went elsewhere initially, but I now regret that and wish we had of eaten here every morning for breakfast!
Great brunch, huge portions I couldn’t even believe it! The food was delicious and the service was great as well. Quick and with a smile. I would definitely eat here again!
