We chose the Crow for a post opera family dinner – close by and the menu looked good. Spacious inside and good sound level – i.e, people sound, not music blaring. Menu is not big but all was tasty that we had. Large wine list made that part fun.
In Seattle for 1 night prior to Alaska cruise, hotel recommended this place which was within walking distance. Nice low key vibe, not a huge menu but the best chicken I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Proscuitto wrapped chicken was delicious, so moist, attentive service – a very cool place.
Simply one of the best meals Ive ever had. Was visiting from Portland and this place was just a block away from the hotel. A lucky find! The food is simple in concept baked chicken, heirloom tomato salad, a Manhattan. Each was excellently prepared from the best ingredients. Fantastic.
Before Aida opera, we decided to try Crow for dinner. Food was excellent, cooked to perfection and really tasty. We had stuffed manicotti and halibut with risotto. Definitely, well go again to explore other dishes.
Friendly staff. Excellent wine options. I had a very cheesy gnocchi and it was quite good, my favorite was the bread. It was delicious and warm.
I would want to start off by saying that Crow is definitely not$$. It is most definitely $$$.We were here last Friday night for dinner. The place was packed but luckily for us we reached at the same moment when two guests were leaving. They have a small menu consisting of a few appetizers, plates to share and main course. We chose a Mushroom risotto and a lasagna. For drinks, we had a glass of wine and a cocktail. The portion size for the risotto was a trifle more than adequate. The lasagna was however the right portion size. The lasagna is a treat visually. However, I have had better. There was a whole lot of tomato puree??? Oozing out and the stacks lay on a bed of tomato as well. Husband didn’t mind it. Due to MasterChef ,I have always been doe eyed when it comes to Risotto’s. In India , I haven’t been lucky. I am not sure how a Risotto (authentic one) would taste like but with respect to the ingredients put in use and from what I have heard the texture should be like , I mark the risotto here a 7.We skipped dessert as we had other plans but they did seem to have a few options which seemed great. ( Yes I saw the neighbours devour it :p)All in all the above cost us close to 77$ so yes a place you may want to go to to indulge and treat yourself :)The attendance was pleasant. They have a bar area . Although there is a notice put up about minors not being allowed. I did see a couple of kids with their families. This restaurant is a typical date night sort of a place with dim lights and soft music . The dcor did instil a feeling of being in the 18th century. You will know when you visit! 😉
We were at Crow last Friday for our date night. For starters we ordered the Grilled Bread and Tomato Salad which is cleverly finished with Chvre. For our main course we went with what we have been reading on reviews of this place, the Pan Roasted Chicken wrapped Prosciutto and the House Lasagna with Italian Sausage and we shared a side of the Smashed Potato Cake. I’m always cautioned whenever I order chicken as it tends to be overcooked and leaving the piece of chicken breast less desirable. But to my surprise, the chicken is done really well, tender and juicy! The house made lasagna portion is huge and different. I personally prefer ground meat but it was definitely a fresh change. As for the potato cake, with the bread crumbs on top of the cake makes it an awesome combination as it gives a really good texture of the cake. For dessert we ordered the S’mores Crme Brle. It is not overly sweet but really rich and smooth. I am glad we ordered just one dessert to share. Overall, it was a really good dining experience and will definitely put in my list to come back again.
