If I could I would give this place a Michelin star for sure. Everything we ate and drank here including the service from the server were outstanding. We ordered desserts first – coconut pie and warm donut pillows. The crust was perfect and the pie was perfect- not overly sweet and the day after the crust was not soggy but still perfect. The donuts remained fluffy even after they were no longer warm and the exterior was a bit crispy so it was perfect. We ordered the appetizer sampler and we were so glad we did. There were 4 samples. The best one was the salmon, then the tuna with eggplant, then the Dungeness crab with corn bits, and then the ceviche like appetizer which was a bit tart with lemon for me. The red wine and draft beer were excellent. We ordered the duck and 16 oz rib eye steak. Wow, the duck was outstanding. Perfect amount of fat and perfect crispy skin. It came with a fruit sweet compote which really complimented the duck. It had good amount of duck meat and fat ratio. Ive had duck at many restaurants but this is the best EVER! The rib eye was cooked perfectly. It was tender and flavorful meat. Will definitely return again. Went to Dahlia to celebrate our birthdays and our wedding anniversary so the meal will forever be in our memories! This was the best meal EVER!!! It was a couple hundred dollars but so well worth it. We were stuffed and we brought home a doggy bag. This did include the 20% tip which is automatically added to the bill and the server deserved every penny. Server went beyond what was expected with nice surprises that were added. We left with a smile on our face and surprisingly delighted!!! Love their sign on the building too- chef holding a fish. So cute!
