Had the salmon. It was delicious! Local food and wines. Convenient location near Pikes Place Market. Appropriately priced for the quality of food. Definitely recommend!

Food was okay. Service was fine. The fixtures and decorations need to be dusted badly! The chowder was tasty, and the bread was delicious. Nothing on the menu really stood out or was fresh (considering it is next to a farmer’s market). I had the breaded oysters and they were good. The fries were shoestring and quite tasty also.

With a lot of great reviews raving over how good the food is. On a Saturday morning before walking into the craziness of Pike placemarket, Etta’s is conveniently on the road by the market, just far enough to not be in the middle of chaos but also close enough to be in walking distance of the market. While arriving around 10am , the 2 rooms were basically empty with only 3 tables. We were seated immediatley and was told of the daily specials. Which is actually what I decided on! Loco Moco with a mushroom gravy over white rice and a beef patty…a poached egg on top to tie everything together. Amazing. It’s my first time ever having Loco Moco and I was sure enough going to get a fair share of the dish during this visit. But boy oh boy did Etta’s set a high standard. The gravy was my favorite part, not heavy but creamy enough to mix well with the egg yolk and paired perfectly with the patty. Hearty breakfast choice but so worth it. The boyfriend got the shrimp rissoto, shrimp was grilled and the veggies tasted really fresh. I enjoyed his dish but not as much as mine! Service started out great, but I guess towards the end of our meal the restaurant got busier so the wait for the bill was extra long. Over all service didn’t matter since the food was so delicious! It’s a must try when you’re in seattle!!

Great experience on first visit to Etta’s. Tried the steamed clams in a special tomato sauce that was fantastic. Chowder was good. The halibut was excellent – cooked right, firm, not fishy. And, finished off with some ice cream they make there on the premise. Service by Barbara was very good.Overall, a 4 for the first visit which may go up next time. Will definitely come back!

Located near the Pike’s Place market in Downtown Seattle, Etta’s Seafood is another venture run by renowned Chef Tom Douglas. Decent breakfast menu with some well prepared Dungeness Crab Benedict and Cinnamon French Toast to devour. For lunch, we tried the Dungeness Crab Cakes, Etta Salmon, Blue Cheese salad and an order of half a dozen Oysters. The salad sufficed but the seafood was impressive. Service was decent and the prices are affordable. Good visit!!

I love Etta’sto end along walk through the market with visitors. It’s the perfect place to lunch, relax and recharge before the inevitable hours spent shopping up at Pacific Place. The mussels were large, plump and expertly cooked. I winced when my friend ordered the $25 crab salad but it was so fresh, citrusy and delicious that I instantly forgave her. And of course we ended the mealwith an absolutely perfect slice of coconut cream pie. There’s a reason this man has a dozen restaurants.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. From the seafood stew to the fried oysters. Everything has been on point. I love rolling in for brunch and Bloody Mary’s the morning after a night out (the shrimp and grits is pretty amazing) And the service is always fantastic.
