Ate here with kids. Was a little hesitant to bring kids there. But there were very kid friendly by making a basic pasta with butter. The lasagna was recommended by the waitress, so I trusted her and ordered it. She was right, it was absolutely delicious. They have a nice variety of wines. Was a little tough to find. Its located just around the corner from the gym wall.
Great tasting seafood. Their sausage was perfectly flavored, just enough seasoning without overpowering you with saltiness. Tiramisu made in house and to die for The service was fast and friendly. They keep very convenient hours. Happy Hour offered value for money. Madison was very gracious, friendly and efficient.
Completely flavorless food. This style of Italian restaurant was the norm, if not sought after in the eighties. It’s day has come and gone and it has fallen behind. Arugula salad was flavorless. The risotto if the day was over cooked mushy and flavorless. The bourbon old fashioned I ordered was watery. Need I go on? There are infinitely better Italian spots throughout Seattle, but none this close to Pike’s.
Food is mixed bag but service was great!. Came here on my birthday with my fiancee and we were kindly seated in a booth in the corner which the server thought would be more private and romantic. I have to say – the service was outstanding and the server was friendly, relaxed and attentive but not overly so. We enjoyed some wine before our entrees arrived – mine was the house risotto, with butternut squash. Disclaimer: I realized afterwards that I don’t really like butternut squash in savory dishes. I feel like the dish could’ve been more gratuitous on the cheese side and generally more flavorful to make it pop, so to me it was only OK. The cheesecake our server surprised me with (complete with candle and a gorgeous plating) was delicious. So… it was memorable in some ways and fell short in others.
Food Tour Stop. Although I didn’t have a full meal, our sampling (Savor Seattle) was great. We were greeted by the owner and then given some risotto and wine. It seems like a great place to dine if you have the money for it. Their menu wasn’t too big but they had some variety in choices.
